Who I am
I am the founder of French Vahine.
The story of the brand began well before the creation of the first pieces of jewellery. It finds its origins in two trips to French Polynesia, taken during my travels around the world.
There, I discovered a culture deeply connected to the ocean, to nature, and to freedom. A world that spoke to me immediately and has stayed with me over the years.
Since my childhood, the ocean has always been my guiding thread.
French Vahine was born from this encounter between my French roots and my deep attachment to Polynesia.
Why Polynesia
Polynesia was love at first sight.
The lagoon, the light, the vegetation, the omnipresent ocean… but above all this way of living in harmony with nature, with more simplicity and freedom.
There, I discovered the mana, that energy one feels in places, elements, and encounters. A sensation difficult to explain, but one that has never truly left me.
And then there was the Tahiti pearl.
A natural, unique material, never perfectly identical. Its shades change with the light, from deep green to silver grey, sometimes even to aubergine reflections.
It is what became the starting point for French Vahine.
From the idea to French Vahine
After several years in communications, the desire to bring a more personal project to life gradually took hold.
In 2026, I returned to French Polynesia with my family for an immersion lasting several months. I took the time to meet with people in the pearl industry, select my first pearls, and refine the story I wanted to tell through French Vahine.
Back in France, the first collections began to take shape in my studio, blending Tahitian pearls, gold chains, and inspirations gathered along my travels.
